Jakarta – PT Pertagas Niaga's commitment to continue to prioritize safety culture in its operations has yielded brilliant results. Tuesday (22/02), PT Pertagas Niaga won the 2022 Safety Culture Award in the Gold category from the World Safety Organization (WSO) Indonesia. The award was handed over by the Representative of the Director of the World Safety Organization, Tayyeb Shah to the President Director of PTGN, Aminuddin online.
This Safety Culture Award evaluates the safety culture practiced by a company over the past year. The assessment is carried out through data and document verification which is carried out directly by WSO Indonesia. In this competition, there are 58 companies competing for this award. "This is truly a proud achievement for PTGN. PTGN in addition to pursuing the target of commercial volume, we still prioritize aspects of safety or K3 culture in operating activities in the field and the safety of loyal consumers of Pertagas Niaga gas product users," Aminuddin explained in his written statement.
The application of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Culture in the workplace and company is the main foundation to achieve the vision of becoming a world-class trading company. This award will give a new spirit for companies to continuously improve themselves and innovate by presenting environmentally friendly gas products to support the decarbonization program.
