Bekasi – Subholding Gas Pertamina through its affiliate, PT Pertagas Niaga (PTGN) consistently seeks to expand the use of natural gas in order to encourage diversification of wrong energy for the restaurant industry in Indonesia. Tuesday (14/06) PTGN President Director Aminuddin together with Bakso Rusuk Joss business owner and West Java chairman of APKULINDO (Indonesian Culinary Entrepreneurs Association) Isa Juarsa signed a CNG Sale and Purchase Agreement in Bekasi, West Java.
Through this agreement, PTGN will supply gas through Gaslink products with CNG cradle mode, which is a gas storage medium that is more compact and can be filled flexibly. Gaslink CNG is able to supply gas needs for the Bakso Rusuk Joss kitchen of 3,600 M3 per month.
"Meatball Rusuk Joss has been widely known by the public and we are proud to be able to take part in supporting this effort to utilize natural gas energy in the context of energy diversification," said Aminuddin.
Bakso Rusuk Joss hopes that this collaboration can have a positive contribution to its business and in the future it can be expanded to other outlets.
"We hope that later this CNG supply can provide efficiency for Bakso Rusuk Joss, as well as increase our value as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are concerned with the use of energy that is more environmentally friendly," said Isa Juarsa.
Currently Bakso Rusuk Joss has twenty outlets spread across various parts of Indonesia.
CNG is one of the innovations in utilizing natural gas to reach areas where there is no natural gas pipeline infrastructure. PTGN, as an affiliate of PT PGN Tbk, has been supplying CNG for industrial needs in South Sumatra, East Kalimantan, Java and Bali with a total distribution of 500,000 MMBTU/month. The efficiency of CNG supply is expected to increase the competitiveness of MSME products and services.
